What to do in isolation?! If you’re anything like me, you know there are 1000 things you could do at home, but where do you start? If you have a list of things to do, it seems clearer on where to start. Here are our suggestions to keep you busy/active/occupied whilst you are in isolation. If you’re not feeling well, check out the ‘What to do if you’re feeling unwell’ section! Otherwise start ticking off other items on our list.Â
- Baking (bread, cakes, cookies, healthy treats, back to school freezable treats)
- Clean out your recipe books (get inspired about cooking at the same time)
- Tidy up the kitchen cupboards (and cull!)
- Move your furniture around to make new spaces (have fun cleaning under the couches – never know what you might find!)
- Weed the garden (get a delivery of top soil/mulch)
- Prepare and re-plant your vegetable garden or harvest
- Find a challenging jigsaw puzzleÂ
- Paint your nails, give yourself a manicure/pedicureÂ
- Make a travel book from your last tripÂ
- Make a family album, either with craft or order onlineÂ
- Online shopping (locally of course), who has upcoming birthdays?Â
- Have a bubble bath with candles and relaxing musicÂ
- Home work out/pilates/yogaÂ
- Play a board gameÂ
- Do a face maskÂ
- Clean out the garageÂ
- Wash and vacuum the carÂ
- Set up a zoom meeting with tea/wine and catch upÂ
- Sort through the linen cupboardÂ
- Wash the cushion coversÂ
- Pick flowers from the garden and make a posyÂ

- Polish your shoes (or pay the kids to do it!)Â

- Write some poetry, find lots of inspiration online if you need itÂ
- Re-organise your bedroomÂ
- Create a scavenger hunt for each other or for the adultsÂ

- Set up the longest line of dominoesÂ
- Play under the sprinkler or put the sprinkler on the trampolineÂ
- Set up a pretend cafe/shop – could a hat/sock/toy shopÂ
