Beyond the Barbell
Beyond the Barbell provides workouts for both men and women to work on their physical and mental health.
Our workouts are inclusive and cater for the most experienced client to the least experienced. We also provide personal training for those who don’t think group training is for them and sessions that cater for individual needs.
Our trainer has close to 20 years of experience in the fitness industry. Having worked for elite sporting clubs, lecturing in exercise and fitness, running a successful business and now using exercise as an intervention for mental health.
Beyond the Barbell is a registered charity with all profits going back into providing accessible programs for everyone. Recently nominated for ‘Mental Health Awareness Program of the year 2021’ by AUSactive (previously Fitness Australia).
Days – Monday 6.30pm – 7.30pm & Saturday mornings 7.30am – 8.30am
Cost – FREE
Location – Montmorency Scout hall at the rear of Petrie Park, Montmorency.
